Organizatia TESHA din Ungaria este in cautare de organizatii partenere
pentru un curs de formare (Actiunea 4.3), intitulat "Volunteers have
Right(s)!", ce urmareste dezvoltarea personala si profesionala a
grupurilor de voluntari prin educatia pentru drepturile omului. Cursul se
va derula in perioada 1-9 august 2011, in Ungaria.

Data limita pentru trimiterea acordului de parteneriat este: 20 ianuarie
2011

On behalf of TESHA, we are looking for partner organisations from EU
countries to our training course applied to Action 4.3 according to YIA
programme.

development of volunteer groups through human rights education
01 – 09 August 2011 Godollo, Hungary

Theme of the training course:
Getting to know the new European Strategy "Investing and Empowering
young people"Â and its influence on our youth work in local and
international level. Based on the European Youth Strategy to foster the
quality and quantity of voluntary work and service among young people and
volunteer management. Raising awareness on competence assessment and
development through the Youth workers' portfolio by youth leaders.
Making Compass, human rights manual more well – known and useful among
volunteer groups and practice different methods on human rights education
with by and for young people and youth leaders.

The overall aim of the training course:
To train youth leaders on volunteer management through human rights
education. To learn self – assessment as youth leaders, exploring own
personal and professional strengths and weaknesses and how they could
become competent leaders of their volunteers. To improve their leadership
on preparing, implementing and evaluating voluntary youth projects on
human rights.

Learning objectives of the training course are:
-Â To raise awareness on the goals of new European Youth Strategy
"Investing and Empowering";
-Â To make self – assessment on leadership competences through Youth
workers' portfolio as a tool;
-Â To improve competences as leadership, communication, self – esteem,
organisation, and management of tools and people.
-Â To be able to prepare, run and evaluate tools and methods on human
rights.
-Â To create new partner network among volunteer organisations and invent
together future projects on human rights.

The methodology of the training course:
The training course will be based on non formal education and human rights
education. We will use tools and manuals published by Council of Europe
and European Commission, e.g. Youth workers' portfolio; Compass, manual
on human rights; European Youth Strategy "Investing and Empowering".
The training course will be built on the needs and expectations of our
participants, so absolutely learner centred. During our training course,
we will improve the leadership competences, communication skills,
management and organisational skills and self – esteem as attitude of
our participants. Methods we will use are self – assessment, theoretical
and practical background, working in small groups, pairs, national and
mixed groups, role plays, group building activities, research, creative
and interactive methods.

Who can participate in the training course
- Between 18 and 30 years old;
- Youth workers and youth leaders, directly working with young people,
having experience of working with volunteers;
- Motivated to empower young people in daily youth work mainly emphasis on
voluntarism and human rights;
- Ready to take part in the whole training course;
- Have organizational support for further activities with young people;
- Be able to communicate English.

Eligible countries: EU member states Â

Financial conditions:
The food and accommodation will be provided and paid by the organizers.
70% of travels costs will be reimbursed either by bank transfer after the
course or at the end of the course in cash (in Euros €). It may be that
money from European Commission will be late; in that case, as mentioned,
you will get your reimbursement after the course by bank transfer (be
ready for that).

There is 30 EUR participation fee!
